Who we are
and why we're called FIL
fil Catalan for thread
We're Franc and Llucia, two professional musicians who live and play in Mallorca. We know the stage from the inside, and we know how much a night changes when the music is chosen well.
Our initials spell FIL, which is Catalan for thread. That's what we do: we run a thread between artists, clients and experiences, so everything sounds the way it should.

What kind of music and formats do you offer?
Solo artists, duos, trios, bands and DJs across different styles: acoustic, jazz, soul, pop, covers or electronic sets. We'll suggest the format that best suits your venue and your guests.
Do you cover the whole of Mallorca?
Yes, we work all over the island. If your event is somewhere else, tell us the details and we'll look into it.
Can you handle the music for a whole season?
Yes. We put together recurring line-ups for hotels, restaurants and beach clubs, with a calendar, artist rotation and a single point of contact.
Booking
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better, especially for peak-season dates and weddings. Even so, get in touch if your date is close: we always try to find a way.
How is the quote worked out?
It depends on the format, duration, date, location and the technical set-up required. Once we know about your event, we'll send you a tailored proposal with no obligation.
Can I choose the setlist?
Yes. We adapt the repertoire to the moment and the mood, and we're happy to take special requests, for example for a ceremony or a first dance.
Production
Do you provide sound and lighting?
We can. We scale the equipment to the venue and the format, and take care of set-up, operation and get-out.
What do you need from the venue?
Usually a nearby power point, an area for the musicians and a set-up time slot. We go over it with you, and with the venue team if there is one, before the event.
